About Me

Hello friend!

I am Laura Salanta, wife of Josif Salanta and mother of Hannah. I love Christ, my family and life. I was born and raised in Romania for part of my childhood. That experience has taught me to appreciate the blessings that come with our freedom to worship.

I have a soft spot for the youth of today, and I believe that is why God called me into the field of Education. I graduated from the University of Michigan – Dearborn with a degree in Secondary Education and have spent most of my teaching career working with students in the inner city of Detroit. I can honestly say that was the most rewarding job (other than being a mom) I ever had. I had the pleasure of teaching Sunday school and leading a young ladies ministry at our church as well.

At this time the Lord is leading me in a different direction. I began a women’s ministry in our community in which we aim to bridge the gap between generations. We see God’s hand at work in this ministry and we praise Him for it.

The greatest ministry God called my husband and I to, is in our own home. When we became parents, God showed us that our child is a gift from Him and one day we will have to present her to Him. We realized that we are responsible not just for our child’s well being, but also for her knowing the love of our Lord Jesus Christ and ultimately entering into a personal relationship with Him. Thus our journey to live an uncompromised life began.

I also feel God calling me in the field of writing and thus the beginning of this newest journey.
